Job Description: As a Senior Interior Designer, you will take a leadership role in developing and delivering exceptional designs for luxury food & beverage and restaurant projects. You will guide a talented team, collaborate with high-profile clients, and oversee the entire design process from concept to completion. This is an opportunity to influence the studio’s creative direction while delivering innovative and sophisticated design solutions. Key Responsibilities: Creative Leadership: Lead the design process, from conceptual development through to final execution, ensuring projects align with the studio’s ethos and standards of excellence. Client Relationships: Act as the primary liaison with clients, presenting design concepts, interpreting their vision, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that exceed expectations. Design Development: Oversee the production of detailed design plans, 3D visuals, technical drawings, and material specifications, ensuring design integrity and alignment with project goals. Mentorship and Team Collaboration: Mentor and guide mid-weight and junior designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Material and Finish Expertise: Drive innovative and sophisticated material and finish selections, elevating the design aesthetic and maintaining alignment with luxury standards. Project Oversight: Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure successful outcomes. Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to review progress, address challenges, and ensure flawless implementation of design concepts. Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the studio’s creative strategy, providing insights on trends, best practices, and ways to continually elevate the studio’s offerings. Qualifications: Degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with a significant focus on luxury hospitality design, particularly food & beverage and restaurant projects. Advanced proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD (or Vectorworks), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and project management. Exceptional communication, leadership, and client presentation skills. A proven ability to lead teams and deliver outstanding results on complex, high-profile projects.
