Job DescriptionA new opportunity has arisen to join our content team as a speaker & content coordinator across a series of our global events. The role will play a key part in our conference production, through managing relationships with stakeholders and speakers, collecting key information where required, facilitating introductions, researching new speakers, following up on invites and, ultimately, contributing to and executing on our vision across the Founders Forum Group.This fast-paced role will require ambition, strong research skills, the ability to build relationships with senior industry and government figures, the ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities, and excellent internal and external stakeholder management.This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is interested in the tech and startup ecosystem with the chance to liaise with some of the most exciting names in tech!Key areas of responsibility: Manage communications with high-profile speakers - founders, investors, tech leaders - including invites, follow ups and briefings for various events Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date speaker database Research and identify the tech world's rising stars, supporting to secure fresh, new speakers for our events Collaborate with the content team to curate engaging programmes for a range of events supporting the growth of the tech ecosystem Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and key players in the tech landscape to inform content strategy Analyse speaker proposals and presentations to ensure alignment with event themes and audience interests Follow industry news and developments, identifying potential speakers and topics for future events RequirementsExperience and qualifications: Some knowledge and experience of the B2B event world is desirable, not essential Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial organisation Strong attention to detail Demonstrable experience of the ability to build positive relationships with multiple different stakeholders Interest in the tech startup ecosystem is essential The successful candidate will demonstrate: Ambition and strong attention to detail A positive, can-do attitude Strong research and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication Desire to improve processes and workflows Ability to build relationships with senior industry and government figures Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities Excellent internal and external stakeholder management Resilience, flexibility, and ability to work autonomously BenefitsWe offer a range of flexible, discretionary benefits to our team.
