Madisons Recruitment are working with a reputable contractor within their Water Authourities Division in their search for a Working Site Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive carpentry/multi trade experience. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations at various job sites overseen by our Project Manager. Your role will involve supervising a team of tradesmen and sub- contractors, ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of reporting.Duties include: Supervise and manage a team of tradesmen and sub-contractors at multiple job sitesMonitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environmentCo-ordinate and schedule work assignments for the teamConduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specificationsProvide guidance and support to team members, including training and development opportunitiesMaintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or accidents that occur on-siteCollaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project successResolve issues or conflicts that arise during the course of workWorking on the tools where required with a suitable Carpentry / Multi Trade Background Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction or related industryStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of safety regulations and proceduresAbility to read drawings and interpret project specificationsProficient in using computer software for record keeping and reporting Essential Requirements: Minimum 3 year’s experienceExtensive carpentry/multi trade experienceSMSTS / SSSTS (or keen to achieve these)Driving Licence (preferably clean)Own basic tool kitsNVQ L4 Construction Site Supervision (or keen to achieve) If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date copy of your CV.
