Gecko Travel Recruitment are excited to be working with this wonderful and award winning adventure travel company who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.The Management Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director and is an integral part of a small finance team. You will collaborate closely with teams across the company and may have opportunities to contribute to projects beyond the finance function.We are looking for someone who is able to work with large amounts of data, and so strong excel skills are a must, as data interpretation will form a large part of the role.The role:Ensuring accurate and timely production of monthly management accountsAssisting with processing of weekly supplier paymentsSupporting the preparation of quarterly team presentations and board reportsAssisting with regular reconciliations of key balance sheet accountsSupporting with regular month end processes, including posting of journalsYou will have:Ability to interpret and present large volumes of data in a clear and concise formatACCA/CIMA part-qualified or qualified through experienceStrong working knowledge of MS Excel, Windows OS and other Microsoft Office toolsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExperience in a similar role in the travel industry (preferred but not essential)Additional Information :Salary £38-42,000 per annum (depending on experience)Company pension (3% employer / 5% employee contribution)Generous annual leave entitlementHybrid working modelMonthly social get-togethers and summer and Christmas partiesThis is an excellent opportunity to join a small but growing finance team where you will contribute significantly to its success.Please send your CV to hello@geckotravelrecruitment.co.uk quoting GTR1684, alternatively head to our website for more details and to apply: www.geckotravelrecruitment.co.ukPlease note that if you do not hear from Gecko Travel Recruitment within 7 days of your application, you have not been successful on this occasion.
