Our client, a leading law firm in the heart of London, is expanding their Corporate & Commercial team and is seeking a skilled solicitor to join their growing department. About the RoleAs a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in the team, working on a diverse range of matters for an impressive client base that includes SMEs, multinational corporations, and start-ups. Your duties will include: Corporate Transactions: Advising on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, private equity deals, and corporate restructuring. Commercial Contracts: Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements such as shareholder agreements, terms of business, supply contracts, and NDAs. Regulatory & Compliance: Providing strategic advice on corporate governance and regulatory matters to ensure clients remain compliant. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by delivering tailored, commercially sound legal solutions. Team Collaboration & Development: Collaborating with other team members, supporting junior colleagues, and contributing to the department’s growth. Business Development: Participating in initiatives to develop new client relationships and expand the firm’s market presence. What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: A minimum of 2 years PQE in Corporate & Commercial law. Experience handling corporate transactions, particularly M&A and joint ventures. A strong ability to draft and negotiate commercial agreements. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a client-focused approach. A proactive and commercially minded attitude, with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results. An interest in contributing to business development and the long-term success of the firm. What’s on Offer A competitive salary between £55,000 and £75,000, dependent on experience.
