Learning Support Assistant, East LondonTeaching Personnel are recruiting for a inclusive primary school in Hackney to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and who wants to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.Learning Support Assistant Role:As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities. You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to provide individualised support to help students achieve their full potential. Your duties will include: Working with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groupsSupporting students with disabilities to access the curriculumAssisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all studentsMonitoring students' progress and providing feedback to teachers and parentsProviding pastoral care and emotional support to students as requiredAssisting with administrative tasks such as record keeping and preparing resources.You will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to help you further your career in education.You will also have the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, alongside experienced professionals who are committed to providing the best possible education for our students. Learning Support Assistant - The Candidate: Have a 2:1 or 1:1 from a reputable universityExperience with SEN/SEMH/SENDThe ideal candidate for this role will have experience working with students with learning difficultiesBe committed to providing high-quality education and support to students and will be able to work effectively as part of a team.Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.Be organised, reliable, and flexible, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
