Dove & Hawk are working in partnership with an independent property consultancy with expansion plans in place for this year. They are in the process of hiring a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor with at least 3 years' PQE for the office based in Central London.Duties/Functions of the role: Conducting a variety of services: Building Surveys, Contract Administration, Project Management, Dilapidations, Reinstatement Cost Assessments, Planned Preventative Maintenance surveys and Party Wall matters. Providing advice on a wide range of property types and to a variety of clients; predominantly commercial, with a degree of retail, residential and mixed-use investments & development work. Growing and managing client relationships. Developing and assisting with the mentoring of junior team members. Requirements of the role: Chartered Status as a Building Surveyor (MRICS) At least 3+ years PQE working as a Building Surveyor. A proven track record in ensuring business operational and financial targets are met. Strong understanding of all Building Consultancy disciplines. Good people management skills. Attention to detail, with a strong numerical and written ability. Ability to write clear, concise reports with well-argued conclusions & recommendations. A full UK driving licence. Knowledge of AutoCAD, NBS software and Microsoft packages.
