Job Description: English and Maths KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: England, Greater London, IslingtonJob Type: Temporary, Part-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £20 - £30 Per hourJob Duties: Provide specialised English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)Create individualised lesson plans to cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of SEN studentsImplement engaging teaching methods to enhance student understanding and academic progressRegularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordinglyCollaborate with SEN coordinators and other educational professionals to support student development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UKSpecialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths to students with SENDemonstrated experience working with Key Stage 3 students Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related fieldExperience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar roleKnowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practisesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of SEN studentsOrganisational skills to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)Experience working in outreach or community-based educational programmes Working Conditions: This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to Key Stage 3 students with SEN in the Greater London area. The tutor will work closely with SEN coordinators and other educational professionals to deliver tailored English and Maths tutoring sessions.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
