We provide a dynamic environment where you can expand your professional expertise and make a significant impact.We seek a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team, focusing on identifying and generating leads from startups in the cloud ecosystem. Work location - hybrid from LondonResponsibilities: Proactively identify, research, and qualify potential startup leads within the cloud ecosystem using tools such as LinkedIn, Salesforce, and industry-specific databasesContact prospects through email, phone calls, and social media to generate interest in Automat-it’s solutionsMaintain a robust and organized sales pipeline in Salesforce, tracking all interactions and ensuring follow-upsOwn the initial stages of the sales cycle until handover to Account Manager who will lead the sales deal until closingWork closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leadsStay updated on cloud ecosystem trends, industry developments, and startup activity to refine outreach strategiesAttend local AWS and customer events to network, generate leads, and represent Automat-it in the cloud ecosystem community 1+ years in a similar BDR/SDR or sales role, preferably in the B2B tech or cloud ecosystemPassion for technology and cloud services, eager to learn and grow in the fieldProven experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executivesExcellent organizational and presentation skills. Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation targets in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishEnthusiastic about learning and adapting to new tools, trends, and marketsWorking experience with Salesforce or Hubspot - an advantageExperience working in startups and knowledge of the local startup ecosystem - an advantageFamiliarity with cloud services - an advantageAutomat-it is committed to fostering a workplace that promotes equal opportunities for all and believes that a diverse workforce is crucial to our success.
