About the role:The Middle Office team is an integral part of the firm and ensures timely, accurate and thorough execution of trade support and portfolio valuation functions.We are seeking to a motivated and detail-oriented graduate to join our Operations team - an excellent opportunity to gain experience and exposure within the hedge fund industry.This 1-year contract role offers the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities: Support the Operations and Investment teams in their day-to-day activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy of all static data within the Orchestrade system. Testing and assisting with various projects to upgrade the system and Tradeflow. Work closely with Orchestrade, Fund Administrator and other stakeholders to improve daily processes and seek to achieve efficiencies. Periodically review static data to ensure accuracy. Provide data input services for other types of static and reference data within several operational systems. Intraday checking of system integrity via health checks, files, and tasks. Work to improve trade data transfer with third party vendors. Act as a liaison between prime brokers and internal firm groups to ensure that all trade discrepancies are kept to a minimum and any breaks are resolved in a timely manner. Expand upon knowledge of products and technology for personal development and growth within the Operations team. Requirements Graduate with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related field, with a keen interest in the hedge fund industry. Understanding of a variety of Macro products is a plus. A keen eye for detail, a curious mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Operates with the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
