As a Business Administration Apprentice in the Planning Team, you'll play a vital role in our Planning Department. You'll be at the heart of our planning processes, ensuring applications and documents are accessible to the public. You will also have the opportunity to study towards a Business Administration Level 3 qualification, equipping you with the essential skills to continue your career.What’s the role?Your duties will include registering and processing planning applications, uploading documents for public viewing and comment, managing public and statutory consultee comments, and generating essential planning correspondence. You will be fully trained in all aspects of the role including the use of specialist software and machinery. What we’re looking forWe are looking for someone with good IT Skills who has the ability to work in a pressured environment with changing priorities, is flexible in their attitude to their duties, organised, and has the ability to work well in a team.LocationWhilst the service is primarily based in Laurence House, we operate a hybrid approach whereby you may be required to work both in the office and from home as determined by service requirements. The potential apprentice will on occasions work in other areas of the planning team as needed.Special conditions

due to the nature of this role applicants are required to hold a minimum of grade A*-C GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
