They will establish an independent research portfolio, by applying successfully for external grants, publishing in peer review journals and disseminating results at national and international conferences.
In addition, the ACL will work collaboratively with colleagues to build a strong research portfolio in WMS, UHCW and the wider University. They will be expected to be actively involved in the postgraduate teaching programme and contribute to the supervision of Academic Clinical Fellows and PhD students; providing academic mentoring and advice for colleagues working in the NHS and/or in public health.
The sucessful candidate will be employed by the University of Warwick and hold Honorary Contracts with the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) or other NHS Trust relevant to their training needs. Public health registrars will hold an honorary contract with the regional employer, St Helen’s and Knowsley NHS Trust.
