About the RoleTeaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate General Science Teacher for a reputable secondary school in Wallasey, rated “Good” by Ofsted. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic school environment, committed to fostering student engagement and academic excellence in Science.Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, in line with the UK National Curriculum.Develop engaging and innovative lesson plans that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and encourages students’ curiosity in Science.Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.Work collaboratively with the Science department and contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject area.Recent teaching experience in Science at the secondary school level.A genuine passion for Science education and the ability to engage students effectively.An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
