RequirementsAWS Fin Ops SME Budget: £55,000 per annumRole Type: Permanent Location: Telford, UK Kindly let me know your interest and if interested please share me your updated cv with below details Name: Contact No: Email Id: Vendor Name Total Years of Experience Relevant Experience Worked with NHS/Public sector : Yes/No If yes – Reason for leaving NHS Notice Period Willing to work in client (Telford) location- 2 days onsite Email confirmation from candidate before client int/v Visa Status Salary [Fixed base] Current Location Current Company Open for Permanent/Contract Current offers/Interviews in pipeline Interview availability Holidays booked AWS Fin Ops SME - Job description • Collaborate with architects and clients to establish cloud economics tools and platforms based on Federal and Industry Cloud(specifically AWS) FinOps best practices. • Develop agency and program specific framework for FinOps principals, personas (roles), domains (areas of focus) and roadmap for Cloud(specifically AWS) FinOps to provide financial recommendations for cloud usage. • Collaborate with staff on cloud(specifically AWS) improvements. Create and present financial models and reports. • Continuously monitor cost of services and perform Total Cost of Ownership studies. • Manage central financial control centre to promote cost transparency. • Identify and categorize services by sub-accounts. • Help develop the billing and analytics engines of the centralized decision-making portal. • Meet with individual customers to review and optimize their specific cloud instance spend as directed by the Government. Required Qualifications: WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED • Education: Bachelor degree • Required Experience: 10+ years of experience with IT systems to include 5+ years of experience with cloud systems; 3+ years of cloud financial/economics experience; 3+ years of project experience in a multi-cloud environment / AWS • Required Skills And Abilities: • Knowledge of specific FinOps tools such as KION, Apptio, CloudChkr and cloud native cost optimization tools • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams. • Strong communication skills, oral and written, to convey cloud technologies and solutions to customer personnel. • Experience with relational databases, data extraction, and data analysis tools.. • Understanding of industry best practices related to Cloud resource tagging and tagging enforcement through automation.
