Main responsibilitiesHayward Community Living are looking for experienced Autism/Learning Disability/Challenging Behaviour Support Workers. This will involve providing a person-centred service to individuals living within specially adapted supported living homes. There are several roles available - Part time and full time contracts available for Weekday & weekend work also waking nights and sleep in positions. As a Supported Living worker, you will play a significant role in supporting clients with day to day tasks, providing personal care, and also partaking in shopping and a variety of befriending duties if taking on extra day shifts. To lead by example in delivering hands on care to clients. Befriending and personal care are both part of this role. To ensure training updates are completed promptly To co-operate with Hayward Community Living in complying with relevant Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of the duties of the post. To behave in accordance with the company’s values. To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate. To participate in appropriate training required for the role. Participate in meetings as appropriate.
