Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with multiple schools in Newcastle and the surrounding area who are seeking extra Exam Invigilators to help them during their busy summer exam period.This role presents itself as a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience in secondary schools.Applications are welcomed from those who are: Invigilators with prior experienceRetired or semi-retired looking for part-time seasonal workGraduates seeking experience within a school environmentIndividuals currently out of work requiring opportunities to gain some extra income The roles and responsibilities of a school Exam Invigilator include: Distributing exam papersMaintaining exam conditions at all timesKeeping time of examsOrganising the exam hallManaging student queries There may sometimes be an additional expectation to work as a scribe for students with additional learning requirements – therefore, a solid grasp of the English language is essential.
