XMAS CAR PARK MARSHALL (WILLOWS) Horizon Parking are looking for helpful and friendly Car Park Marshals to assist us with traffic flow and customer parking as detailed below. These are temporary roles for the week leading up to Christmas, no experience is needed, and training will be provided. Job Title: Xmas Car Park Marshal Location: THE WILLOWS RETAIL PARK, Torquay Dates required: (Please ONLY apply if you are available for ALL shifts) - ROTA SYSTEM TO BE PUT INTO PLACE Saturday 7th December - 8am to 8pm Sunday 8th December - 10am to 4pm Monday 9th December - 8am to 8pm Tuesday 10th December - 8am to 8pm Wednesday 11th December - 8am to 8pm Thursday 12th December - 8am to 8pm Friday 13th December - 8am to 8pm Saturday 14th December - 8am to 8pm Sunday 15th December - 10am to 4pm Monday 16th December - 8am to 8pm Tuesday 17th December - 8am to 8pm Wednesday 18th December - 8am to 8pm Thursday 19th December - 8am to 8pm Friday 20th December - 8am to 8pm Saturday 21st December - 8am to 8pm Sunday 22nd December - 10am to 4pm Monday 23rd December - 8am to 8pm Tuesday 24th December - 8am to 8pm Friday 27th December - 8am to 8pm Saturday 28th December - 8am to 8pm Sunday 29th December - 10am to 4pm Monday 30th December - 8am to 8pm Tuesday 31st December - 8am to 8pm Rate of pay: £11.94 per hour (*) Pay dates: Hours worked between 16th & 22nd December 2024 will be paid on Friday, 27th December 2024. Hours worked from the 23rd to 29th December 2024 (inclusive) will be paid on Friday, 3rd January 2025. Hours worked from the 30th December to 5th January 2025 (inclusive) will be paid on Friday, 10th January 2025. (*) Subject to you completing all allocated hours, along with a provided training video, you will receive an additional £1 per hour for all hours worked in your final payroll run. You will be directing customers towards empty car parking spaces, assisting them with loading their vehicles if needed. We will be looking for you to smile and greet customers and do everything possible to make parking simple and easy for customers. Given the nature of the role, and the fact that you will be working outside in all weather, you must wear a white shirt, black skirt / trousers, and black shoes. You will be provided with a warm hi-vis jacket, hat and the necessary marshalling equipment.
