What you’ll be doingSupport Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the dayWork as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.e. hygiene standards and room preparationPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguardingWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environmentWhat we’re looking forFull and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualificationPrevious experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar)Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each childAbility to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adultsSound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of childrenAbility to be flexible and adaptableBright Horizons are committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone has a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to contribute and thrive in meaningful and impactful ways.
