They produce bread and bakery products, delivering around 1.3 million loaves, every day of the week throughout the UK and Ireland.We are looking for Industrial Hygiene Operatives for our Forest Gate site on an ongoing Temp basis, with an opportunity to go perm.Key Info:Position: Industrial Hygiene OperativeLocation: Forest Gate, E7 9NAPay rate: Day shifts £11.44 per hour(Pay progression opportunities)Days/hours of Work: Day Shift - 06:00 to 18:00, Night Shift - 18:00 to 06:00. Must be fully flexible/available to work both days and nightsContract: Temp with opportunity for PermFull paid training Instant access to Blue Arrow training portal Auto enrolment in pension scheme Job progression into other areas of the factory28 days paid holiday We will support you to gain your Level 2 food & hygiene. Your responsibilities:High level cleaning of site, plant and fabrication including machinery as well as cleaning in place systems including flour service bins, water tanks and yeast holding vesselsMaintain proper housekeepingIssue of clean garmentsCleaning utensils and equipmentMaintaining cleaning supply stocksRemoving, emptying and cleaning all waste receptaclesAccurately completing documentationYou'll need to be someone who is: Able to communicate in a clear and concise mannerAble to work in a physical, fast-paced roleHappy working in a hot, loud environmentHave the ability to support other roles when requiredMust be a flexible worker, available for some weekendsHappy to work 12-hour shifts days or nightsApplication Requirements:Proof of Right to work - Passport, Share code or Birth Certificate Proof of National Insurance - NI Card, payslip or P45/P601 years referencing details (Blue Arrow will apply for these)Candidates are required to undertake a Food Hygiene test at home prior to inductionPlease apply today with your up to date CV and if successful one of the Hovis Resourcing Team will be in touch to discuss your application.
