Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanically Biased) Salary - £33,500 - £37,000Location - Blackburn BB1Working Hours - Days Only - 7:15am/4:30pm - Monday to Friday Our Client has been providing contract packing services to the food industry for almost 50 years and has an exciting opportunity for a multi skilled maintenance engineer with mechanical bias. The successful candidate will have 6+years of food manufacturing experience and will be expected to: Carry out Planned Preventative MaintenanceAnalise and resolve issuesConduct repairsPerform general maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilitiesHave a good interpersonal skills Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and be conversant with HACCP and BRC.Ensure all equipment and machinery is in optimal working conditionSet up machinery as required at production changeovers Familiarity with some of the following types of machinery is required: Multihead weighing machinesBagging machinesLinear weighersCartoning machinesFlow wrap machinesShrink wrap machinesCoding equipmentInspection equipment (Check weighers & Metal Detectors)
