Autism Support WorkerLocation - DoncasterContract Type - Both full and part time roles consideredStart - ASAPThe RoleProtocol Education are working alongside a Doncaster based SEN school and are looking for an Autism Support Worker (ASW) to work alongside the teacher to deliver a personalised autism friendly academic and social skills curriculum.The school aims to build and promote a safe and independent lives for autistic young people through support, understanding and enablement. Key Aspects of the Role: Provide tailored support to pupuls to enable them to learn in an appropiate environmentEnsure the safeguarding off all pupilsProvide care as required. This may include personal care and support of SEMH (Training will be provided)To assist in delivering and running small group activitiesTo support the class teacher in the general running of the sessionsPrepare materiales, learning aids Although previous experience working as a TA, or working with SEN is preferred, it is not essential.
