A fantastic opportunity has arrived to be an exam invigilator in a leading Newham school.The job role is short term and will involve helping children to be successful in their exams by overlooking, assisting and ensuring the exam run as smoothly as possible (readers, scribes etc).Expected start date - This Monday 11th November 2024 to Wednesday 20th November.It is important that you are available for this period.The successful candidate:Exam invigilating experience (preferred)Experience working in schools (preferred)Good Admin and communication skillsRole includes:Report to and be briefed by the exams officer prior to each exam sessionKeep confidential exam question papers and materials secure before, during and after exams * Ensure exam rooms are set up according to the requirementsAdmit candidates into exam rooms under formal exam conditionsWhere required, understand the access arrangements for individual students and offer the support as directed by SENCODistribute the correct question papers and exam materials to candidatesInstruct candidates in the conduct of their examsDeal with candidate questionsPlease note that you MUST have an enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
