Position: Cleaner/Housekeeper - Care HomeJob Purpose:To undertake cleaning of the Care Home as directed to ensure the home is kept in a clean and hygienic condition in order to provide a professional and homely environment to service users and staff at the premises.Main Duties and Responsibilities:To clean communal areas, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and associated areas as per outlined standards. To dispose of refuse.To maintain cleanliness of communal areas and contents.To ensure the surrounding ground of the Care Home is cleaned and hazards free.To report maintenance issues as per procedures.To clean kitchen including surfaces, large and small equipment, including microwave and other ovens, fridges and freezers; to dispose of refuse.Deep Cleaning Rooms and other areas as per the scheduled cleaning planTo comply with COSHH, Moving and Handling and Infection Control RegulationsTo work within the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.To participate in the Annual Performance Development Review Process and ongoing Training.
