This specialist community specialist school is currently seeking a SEN Trainee Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from October 2024. This role is needed due to a current member of the support team relocating to the South West. This inspiring school is a specialist local authority provision that supports 85 pupils with learning disabilities and additional needs. The school supports pupils from all walks of life from the age of 4-16 years. In this role as Trainee Teacher; your role will be to provide high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences through the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum to small groups on a 1;1 basis and in some cases in the teaching of small classrooms of learners. This is a 2 year training programme in this period you will be given the training and qualifications to become a teacher in this setting.
