Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Assistant Management Accountant to join a high growth manufacturing business. This business has developed a strong reputation as an employer of choice, and have recently promoted from within their finance function and so this role could suit candidates looking to progress and develop into a more senior position as their career evolves. The business is looking to bring in a graduate or an AAT student to allow the right candidate to grow and study with the business Reporting into the Financial Controller, key duties of the Assistant Management Accountant will include: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports, eventually taking full ownership of the sales hub accounts. Conduct financial analysis including bookings and revenue reporting to support business decision-making. Assist with the completion of budgets and forecasts. Contribute to departmental audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Analysing manufacturing/engineering hours and looking at the recovery and utilisation. Assist with standard costing / PPV analysis. Review of contracts to ensure compliance with IFRS 15 To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following: Previous experience of working within a finance function Studying towards professional accountancy qualifications Strong excel skills Confident communicator Career orientated In return, the successful candidate will receive the following: £26,000 - £27,000 base salary Study support 25 days holidays Hybrid working environment Longer term career opportunities Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
