If you can inspire and guide students to overcome behavioural challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you!As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be integral in supporting students' academic and behavioural development. Your role will involve creating lesson plans based on the curriculum, delivering tailored support in one-to-one or small group settings, and assisting students with SEND needs in the absence of teachers.As a Behaviour Mentor, Your Responsibilities will be to: Support students in managing their behaviour and making positive choices.Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require help with their behaviour and social skills.Develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to each student.Monitor and track students' progress and report on their achievements and areas for improvement.Support students with SEND and behavioural needs and adapt lessons to meet their requirements.Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to address students' educational and emotional needs.Encourage positive behaviours and support emotional well-being as well as ensure a safe and productive learning space. To Be a Successful Behaviour Mentor, You should have: Relevant qualifications in Education, Psychology, Social Work or a related field.Previous experience in a similar role or as Behaviour Mentor is preferred.Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviour effectively.Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different students.Ability to effectively support students with SEND and diverse learning needs.
