Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' intellectual, social, and emotional development. Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and growth. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities and develop engaging teaching materials. Establish effective communication channels with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to education and student support. Stay updated with the latest educational research, pedagogical approaches, and curriculum developments in the field of History. Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events to contribute to the overall school community. Requirements A bachelor's degree in History or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification recognized in England. Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level. In-depth knowledge of the History curriculum and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners' needs. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish and maintain a positive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents. Passion for education and a commitment to lifelong learning. An understanding of safeguarding procedures and the ability to promote the well-being and safety of students.
