Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum Assess and monitor the progress of students, providing feedback and support to facilitate their learning and development Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and individual growth Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum materials and assessments Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance and grades Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and concerns Participate in professional development activities and stay up-to-date with current educational practices and research Requirements Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification Proven experience teaching Science in a primary or secondary school setting Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a safe and inclusive learning environment Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in Science education Company InformationWayman Education is a specialist recruitment agency with over 20 years experience within the education field.
